A long time ago, in a land far, far away…

Back in 2013 the young Rhino Play team realised there was need for outdoor play equipment that stimulated school children. Their dream was to help all schools and nurseries develop a better environment for children to discover, invent and be creative.

Since then, their dream is still the same but now includes, local authorities, sports clubs and even family-friendly pubs! The desire to create space for children to discover essential problem solving and life skills has grown over the years to the business we see today.

Stuart Hunt – Head of Sales & Marketing

As a successful business Director, I founded the very successful commercial playground design & build company ‘Playline Design’ in February 1997, which subsequently sold to street furniture giant, Broxap, in 2009. I continued as a Broxap Sales Director until December 2013.

From April 2014 to early 2017 I was self-employed as a consultant dealing with all commercial play, sports & safety surfacing projects. From July 2017 until February 2018 I represented the South West UK for SportsafeUK dealing with gym, sports & play inspections & business development.

I’m now very happy to be the Head of Sales & Marketing for the dynamic & forward thinking Rhino Play & apply a very hands on practical knowledgeable approach to all situations. My passion for the outdoors means that I am also actively involved with the practical sides of installation of the line markings & bespoke artificial grass areas for Rhino Play too, coupled with site visits for sales meetings.

Gary Doye – Area Sales Manager

After Studying Timber Technology at Manchester college of building in the 1980’s I worked in a variety of areas of the timber trade including merchanting and Manufacturing. Developing my knowledge of Wood machining and component manufacture allowed me to start up run my own business for 13 years. Much of the last 15 years has been spent working in the play equipment industry. Firstly at Playline Design as operational manager, and for the last 2 ½ years as a Sales Consultant with Rhino Play Limited. My diverse knowledge of both the timber trade and play industry allows me to give informed information of our products to our clients. I am also a competent play equipment inspector.

Peter Harrington – Area Sales Manager

I have worked as a playground consultant and sales manager for over 10 years, selling both timber and steel equipment. I am a family man who draws on my personal experiences to provide educational and fun environments for all ages. I thrive on providing the best service and transforming empty or tired play spaces into engaging playgrounds. I have a passion for this industry and working at Rhino Play takes me to new places every day. I love designing play areas and seeing my visions become reality.

Adam Parker – Operations Manager

Adam Parker Operations Manager for Rhino Play Limited, joined the company in July 2017 after 10 years with a global facilities management company. A qualified & experienced operations & business support manager with a demonstrated history working predominately within customer service focused industries. Skilled in operations management, customer service, budgeting, health & safety, policy & procedure formulation and implementation. Adam resides locally in Kingsteignton with his partner Sharon.

Kate Baker – Accounts Assistant

I joined the Rhino Play team in October 2016 – it’s a great place to work. I love my job as it’s so varied on a daily basis. Before this I have been in the tool hire industry managing the purchase & sales ledgers, credit control & wages for 20 years. I have a great understanding of Sage Accounts. I live in Torquay & have been married to Dudley for 19 years & have 2 teenage daughters.
